It can be hard to keep up with fashion. Each day it seems as if there is something new to buy, a new trend to follow. We live in this throwaway society, where next week, that new fashion phenomena will be old news. Sure enough, however hard we may protest sometimes, there will always be another trend in line, ready to take the top spot. Thats why I think it is important to recognise your own preferences beyond just following trends. Knowing yourself, what you feel confident in and being aware that a piece ‘not being popular’, doesn’t mean you don’t look and feel amazing in it. Despite all this, there are certain aspects of fashion that are just timeless. Items that refuse to follow trends and instead have become integrated into popular culture, cementing their place- permanently. One such item is the iconic Pocket Watch, which I’d like to showcase further in this Vintage Pocket Watch Review. Why we should be integrating timeless pieces into our shapeshifting wardrobes.
Trendhim Quarts Pocket Watch
Trendhim have been kind enough to send me this product and I have to say I was ridiculously excited to be on the receiving end of this one. I have always been fascinated with Pocket Watches ever since I watched Disney’s Alice in Wonderland. There was always something so hypnotising about that White Rabbit and his constant clock watching. Now with my very own to hand, I do think it is one of those items that will be of use time and time again.
I had a lot of fun with this post. I dressed up in any 1920’s attire I could put my hands on, all in order to display the timeless nature of Pocket Watches but also their potential for modern style.
With the perfect mix of vintage practicality and modern flair, this particular product is a take on a classic timepiece. And as you can probably tell, it is really quite something!

As you can see from the photos, this Pocket Watch does have an old time feel to it. I think it could be a great addition to any themed outfit. But I would also like to try and slowly incorporate this iconic accessory into my present style. Along with other classic pieces.
